JCT600 Contracts Ltd was founded in 1988 to offer a full range of vehicle leasing and management services to the corporate and personal markets. Based in Bradford, West Yorkshire and operating independently yet benefiting from ownership and full backing of the JCT600 group. We pride ourselves in offering our clients a quality service which is both personal and flexible, and in our opinion second to none in our industry.
Celebrating 25 Years of Service
JCT600 Contracts is no longer the brash young upstart within the family. By October 2013, we will be able to celebrate a thoroughly successful
25 years.
Since 1988 starting from a base of no customers, no brochure and no fleets, the Company has bought about 33,000 vehicles of which 85% are cars with vans and other light commercials making up the balance.
When we started, Ford was our largest single manufacturer supplier with cars like the Escort and Sierra. Whilst retaining this lead position (just) with the Focus, Mondeo, Fiesta and C-Max, our second largest supplier in 1989, Rover, has gone. In contrast, Audi and BMW have grown in market share and displaced many of the ‘bread and butter’ cars as well as squeezing Saab out of the market.
Our original team of five has grown to forty three, but in one sense the company is back where it started, working side by side with Group Head Office, although the accommodation has changed dramatically from the Sticker Lane, Bradford premises to the very impressive Tordoff House in Apperley Bridge.
It’s still our team members that differentiate us from our competitors with core values of trust, dependability and integrity in an increasingly competitive environment.
